Programme: RETRAP
Approved in June 2021, RETRAP was designed to strengthen agricultural value chains, improve market access, support agribusiness services and upgrade selected rural roads and markets. The World Bank said the original financing targeted 60,000 people, half of them women, and focused on value chains including cassava, rubber, poultry and pigs. These figures are programme targets, not a claim that all beneficiaries had been reached at approval. The project was implemented through Liberia's Ministry of Agriculture with World Bank support.
